Frequently Asked Questions

What is yoga?

Yoga is a great way to strengthen your mind, body, and spirit for overall greater health and well-being through breathwork and asanas (poses). It truly is a journey of yourself through thyself.

back

The Hidden Yoga room is a co-ed yoga space for ages 8 and up.

Am I flexible enough to do yoga?

Everyone lives different walks of life, and you do not need to be flexible nor physically strong to practice yoga. EveryBODY is welcome and all classes can be modified to any level of yogi. If all you do is come and breath on your mat – that is yoga! “Yoga is not about touching your toes; it’s about what you learn on the way down.

back

o Comfortable lightweight, stretchy or loose clothing that does not restrict movement. Layers are always a good idea so that you can remove or add on with your body

o No Shoes and Socks are optional – I recommend nonslip grip socks.

back

What is expected upon my arrival?

The side gate entrance will be opened 10-15 minutes before class begins.

o Place shoes and belongings on the corner shelves to the right of entering the yoga space.
o Please turn off or silence your phones.
o Do not wear heavily scented perfume or cologne.
o We are friends and a yogi community, so feel free to chat at a low volume either before or after class, never during.
